How To Make A Demo:

To make a demo in Quake2 all you need to do is the following:
- Bring down your Console window (hit the ~ key).
- Type: Record demo  (where demo is what you wish to name the demo. Eg. "Record Taco").
- Now that you've started the demo, just play and kill a whole bunch ;) .
- When you have finished recording the demo bring the Console down again (~) and type "Stop".
- The demo will be located in your C:\Quake2\baseq2\demos\ Directory and will be named as a .DM2 file.
- From there you can Zip it up and distribute as you see fit.

How To Run A Demo:

To run a demo in Quake2 just do these simple steps:
- Start Quake2 and bring down your Console (~ key).
- Type: Map demo.dm2 (where demo is the name of the demo you wish to view).
- Now just sit back and relax and watch yourself or someone else kick some ass.
- To leave the demo, just exit as if you were to leave a normal game.
